The Flower Service.
Using flowers is another way of contacting the spirit world with their co-operation, as in a 'Ribbon Service', and we always make an arrangement with our spirit helpers about what we intend to do, and seek their co-operation with the 'plan'.
Obviously a run-of-the-mill service needs no special instructions from either side, except as usual to ask for love and light to be assisting us through the meditation of the medium before the service, but when we intend to go out of the 'set pattern' it is wise to add a little time to this regarding the general needs of both sides.
Method one
Each person in the congregation brings a flower for the medium to ‘read’. At the entrance the receiver will take each flower as it is brought into the church and carefully put it into a vase, or laid onto a tray, without touching any of them. This is to prevent any so-called unwanted influence on a psychometric level. It's a matter of opinion if this detail of not touching the flower is really important, the idea comes from the psychometric methodology. [See article on psychometry - in the Articles - Psychic section.]
As the communications part of the service begins the medium will be drawn to a flower as the spirit guide indicates.
First is the identification of the visiting spirit person who has stepped forward, [basic evidence rules] then the interpretation of the flower, and lastly its significance to the recipient. It can be very touching because flowers have a language of their own, don't they?
To make clear the evidence is correct, it is important to ask the recipient to identify themselves at the end of each message, and acknowledge the accuracy of the communication, and at this time if anything is not clear the medium will go back to spirit for more information.
I've seen grown men with tears rolling down their faces simply as the flower has been named.
Method two.
The congregation do not bring an actual flower in the physical, but the medium asks the spirit communicator which flower is most significant to the recipient, and then names this special ‘spirit flower’, the combination of the individual message and the flower 'speaking' in its own language, makes a very special spiritual experience, as you can imgine.
End.
