Each persons pathway is different, and the reasons spiritual healing does not always work for all who seek it is a mystery to all but the angels, and always will be.

Remember we each have our own Karma, or life's lessons we bring into this life here on the physical, I know this sounds like an easy 'get-out', but we all have that need to progress so there are many ways we can each help, healing is not just for doctors, and progress is not just for physical people!

Other complementary methods that do not involve toxins in the form of drugs, have a chequered history and not alway the support they deserve. Natural remedies are what the drug companies started out with and developed into synthetic manufactured products. I am not in any way speaking against this, and do not wish to get into a discussion about the morals of any aspect.

All I am pointing out is there are many different ways to find help and there is no reason to not do so in Spiritualism, personal responsibility also means we need to get out there! 'Seek and you will find'!

The politics of the drug companies is complicated. The reasons for the western medical world developing into the chemically based massive industry supporting those companies is not the point here.

But what I do know is - the more I learn of complementary medicine [not alternative] and working together with the 'old' or western methods - the more I realize that we need these 'new' ways of helping the body to heal itself.

'Alternative' therapy or medicine means not using the a GP's advice or prescriptions, whereas Complementary means to add to the help already on offer.
