ETERNAL PROGRESS

What is the reasoning behind the Spiritualist Philosophy that makes it all come together, to 'click' inside our brains? What does it all boil down to?

The Masters teach us that our journey through this life is not just a simplistic lesson, it's a fine-tuning of our characters, a tempering of the steel in the individual, the opening of that compassion to all that makes living worth while through the gift of free will.

If you think that don’t have a reason for living a better life, you are looking in the wrong place for your philosophy. Have a good look at your prejudices, and rediscover your own philosophy with the spiritual side of yourself plugged in!

Eternal progress is a journey of discovery, the self and all else, and we have a built in system of basic laws of the universe to help us.

In ordinary language we might say… Like attracts like. What goes round comes round. These are things we all know about and have found to be true.  

Eternal progress, yes but how do we get on? By wanting to first, no spirit help can come without a request. If you don’t know what to say just shout “help” and it will come. I’ve done this many times.

Progress from where to where? From birth to death, from ignorance to knowledge, from where we are to where we would like to be, in the non-material meaning of course!

This implies movement so how do we get moving? What energy will we use to propel this movement foreword? There is a form of energy that is unique.

An energy that is so renewable that there is no chance of it ever, and I mean EVER running out…

It’s called LOVE.

Like attracts like therefore - Love attracts love.

I am not talking about the romantic love that can be fulfilled in the material, I am talking about the love that is eternal, that love for the human race, our brother man, and the God who created all. His love to us is unlimited and it is to be used for this purpose, i.e. eternal progress towards loving all mankind, for only through altruism/serving can we find our true selves as God intended us to be.

In other words you have to give in order to get.

Question, how does this energy, this love manifest itself? Answer: By asking for it to be given to you so you can pass it on to others because that is how it works, only through giving it can you receive it! We are all mediums in that way, by using ourselves to channel Gods universal love, by being the conductor of that energy; like lightning passing through us.

Yes, by giving that love He has given to us we can then be renewed! God is the source of all; the energy He used was love, so how can it run out? What holds up the stars? … Love. You’ve heard the saying; Love makes the world go around, it’s true, it holds up the universe.

Love is the energy, that was used when He thought of our existence and the thought became the deed and – and ‘bobs your uncle’ …there we are…!

What is it that we are to learn here on this material plane when we talk of eternal progress? To learn how to progress! The lessons are, a) find out that there is something more than material, then b) work towards getting all the rest of it.

What I hear you ask?

The spiritual gifts. So at the end of it …all anything amounts to is…LOVE.

Here’s a suggestion, picture yourself as sitting in a quiet place, step outside of yourself and just observe that body. Now, give that body what it needs, and if you can’t think of anything just now – picture all the colours of the rainbow floating around. Next see what the colours do.

Interpretation is up[ to you, find out the meaning of colours by making a list of what they mean to YOU, and then go back and use that information to work it out.
