"If only!"

If only we could learn to live

As the Great Spirit planned,

We'd find the things we need to live

Would always be at hand.

We'd find that love would around us flow

All men would be our friends,

And we would never be afraid

What was around each bend,

We'd never be afraid of death

Because we'd understand

That death is the gateway

To the Spirit Land.

Each day would be bound with love

And light and learning,

And just to go to Spirit Land

Would be out only yearning.

For God has given us all we need

To live upon this world,

If only we would share it all

Then all would be unfurled.
