THE LIBRARY By Donald Rodgers
Life is like a library,
That you can borrow from,
You can borrow a body for a while,
Before you then pass on.
If you treat your body kindly,
Nurturing it with love and care
The spirit within will grow and blossom,
It will feel at home in there.
But if the body is maltreated,
Torn and tattered or abused,
The spirit will not grow and blossom,
But will feel cheated and ill-used.
Great Spirit lent us to this library,
So that we could grow and learn,
And with spirit's guidance,
Win the crown that's there to earn.
So dear friends,
Take heed of this message,
Live your life with thought and care,
So that when you return to the library,
You will find a welcome there!
End.
