The Name White Eagle is the name chosen by a great spirit person to use without having the personality of himself in any way influencing the reader. Most Masters do this mainly because when they reach the status of 'Master' the ego is of no importance whatso ever to them.
He might have been a person of great influence in the physical world, perhaps having written many very important books we all know about - but he might also have been nothing like that at all.
WHITE EAGLE
White Eagle, who spoke through the mediumship of Grace Cooke, describes himself as a spokesperson for a wiser Brotherhood in spirit, who help humanity to understand their true spiritual nature, and to grow in wise love for all life.
Always encouraging, loving and strong, he is a friend to thousands of people all over the world and a spiritual guide in a path of gentle unfoldment.
Thus he has taught us a safe method of meditation, how to pray with acceptance, how to serve others through healing and through the radiation of the Christ light, and how to lead a life where love - the motivating force of the cosmos - is the key-note.
Through White Eagle’s teaching we learn that love works, because it is the power and wisdom behind all, and how to bring that love to bear in all our ordinary, daily encounters.
Karma
White Eagle Says that we must remember that there is in the soul an accumulation of karma. In so many instances the cause of illness lies deep within the soul, and it has been built into the astral body from a past life. The astral body is created, as you know, from the actions of the past. Past karma, which is built into the astral body, manifests sometimes in the form of physical ill, or it may come out in the circumstances of a life. The law of karma is exact; it is just, perfect, and true. You cannot interfere with karma, but you can assist your patient to transmute it.
If the patient is helped to receive the full inflow of the Christ-Light, he will then help himself; and in that way he will learn by transmutation of his karma instead of by means of the particular disease.
The whole purpose of karma is to teach. It is to give the individual soul the opportunity to learn lessons, to gain wisdom, to grow in spiritual stature. If the soul is arrogant (which is so often the trouble), if it will not believe, is quite sure that it knows, then there is nothing else for it but to walk the allotted path and endure the physical ill. Yet there are some souls who deliberately choose the way of suffering, but the choice is subconscious.
Freewill
We must never, never force spiritual healing on others. The soul should come of its own free will to seek spiritual help. The need of the patient is for spiritual light; the purpose of the pain is to lead him towards the light.
This is why, in spiritual healing, we tell you not to be concerned too much with the physical body, and its manifold aches and pains. You are concerned with the soul and with the aura of the patient. It is true that the healer, may possess certain magnetic force, or ‘animal magnetism,’ and give temporary relief to the patient, but that is not enough. In spiritual healing you are healing the soul. In time the body will reflect the soul’s health.‿

WHITE EAGLE
ON REINCARNATION
[Extract from "Reincarnation Through The Zodiac"
by Joan Hodgson, CRCS Publications, 1973]
For the deeper philosophical implications of reincarnation and for more information about the life in the inner world between incarnations, the teachings of White Eagle, available through the White Eagle Publishing Trust, are helpful and illuminating. The following passage is taken from a talk given by white Eagle in 1946.
It is impossible to estimate the number of lives that the individual soul lives on earth, and not easy to assess the span of years that separate those lives from one another. Sometimes the soul will spend a long period resting in the heaven world, or, when the spiritual evolution of a race is reaching its climax, incarnation is speeded up, particularly of the more evolved souls, eager to come back to help the masses rise from darkness and suffering. Sometimes hundreds of years elapse between incarnations, sometimes only a century or less; and it is known that in certain circumstances a child will return quickly, occasionally even, a child who passed away as a babe will return to the same family. No hard and fast rule governs the time between incarnations.
A question often asked is, "why cannot we remember our past lives?" Pause and think of the difficulty with which the adult remembers details of childhood, or even of life a few years ago. You will readily recognise how impossible it would be to recall with the physical brain happenings even of a century ago, let alone perhaps of many thousands of years ago, seeing that this same brain has never received the impression of happenings of those past lives.
But as you proceed on the path of unfoldment you will become more sensitive to the vibrations of past experiences stored away, not in your physical brain, but in your soul temple. Those vibrations create pictures in your mind of scenes of your past, and so, in the process of spiritual unfoldment and soul growth, gradually the memory of past experiences in incarnation becomes clearer.
Many souls grieve at the thought of leaving their loved ones when they return to the earth; they grieve at the possibility of loved ones on the other side going forward without them. Perhaps when they come to the spirit world they will find their friends already reincarnated? Well it does not happen like that. All move forward together in groups. You move up the evolutionary path together, in groups and in families.
So my dear ones, do not reject the truth of reincarnation because you are fearful of being separated from those you love; for in love there is no separation. You cannot be separated from any soul who is part of your soul, cannot be separated from your brethren who move along the path of evolution with you - for you are as necessary to them as they to you. You reincarnate in families; you are drawn together either by what you call hatred or love. The whole purpose of spiritual evolution is for love to reign supreme and for all negative vibrations to be eventually absorbed into the positive good - which is all love, all wisdom, all power.
We would raise your consciousness now to a life which every soul has once known in the sphere of the Sun. From the Sun we all come, to the Sun we all return. Is there not an answering echo in your innermost being when we speak of the Sun-spheres? You make the mistake of thinking of the Sun or the Christ-sphere only as something towards which you are travelling - which is true in one way, for it is indeed a state of consciousness towards which you are moving. But understand also that it is a state of life from which you have come, and in moments of exaltation you can faintly, very faintly, glimpse the glory of the Sun or the Christ-sphere. It is only a vague hope maybe, but you can still understand that such a condition of life exists- It would seem that the spirit has travelled far, far away, since it first came forth from God, but has never wholly lost the true consciousness of its Source. Otherwise it would not feel a yearning which even the most depraved soul can respond to: for in times of dire need, in times of terrible grief and anguish, that soul will still reach out to its God, its Creator. The very yearning towards God is indicative of the life of God or the universal Sun which dwells within man's being.
So, my brethren, let us meditate on a state of life which is wholly in the Light, in the heart of the glorious Sun. Then the consciousness will grow within that this is your true home, the Source from which you come. The soul comes from the Sun-sphere - the Great White Light, the Eternal Light in the heavens. God said, "Let there be Light!" and there was Light; and from that Light everything was created. From that Light we have come; to that Light we return, ourselves beings of Light, rich in experience, having gained wisdom, love and power, having grown, at the end of that journey, to the full stature of the Son-Daughter of God -complete, perfect.
