GROUNDING At the end of any attunement exercise, gently bring your awareness back to normal and connect with the physical everyday world by feeling your feet firmly on the ground, your chair supporting you, and sensing the space and presence of the environment you are in. Visualise your feet growing roots and the safe feeling of being firmly fixed to the Mother Earth. Do this slowly, imagine putting your body back on, as if it were a garment you had taken off for a while. As your physical body has been ‘loosened’ in the activity, try to think of it as needing to fit you like a glove again once you have put it back on again. Open your eyes slowly and awaken fully. For calm energy – this is good to ‘do a quickie’ in a stressful situation – it only takes a minute when you have done it a few times, you can pop into and out of the relaxed state with a bit of practice. Exercise 4 of set - Sit quietly and relax for a moment or two. Choose a comfortable, upright chair and loosen any tight clothing.
- Become conscious of your breathing and abdomen, and notice how, as you breathe that your stomach and abdomen rise upwards and then fall gently back down as you exhale.
- Slow your breathing down a little by saying very slowly in your head, “I breathe in, pause, “I breathe out, and pause again. Continue to keep your attention on your stomach and abdominal movements as you do this and gradually you will establish a slow, gently rhythm in your breathing, bringing more energy into your body as you visualise the goodness feeding you. *** Never force your breathing in any way; always allow your progress to be gradual and gentle. You will also, with regular practice, be able to count the breaths in and out for up to six seconds each, while the breath is in the body and then when it has been expelled. This is rhythmic breathing.
- Next imagine a beautiful clear energy filling your body as you breath, each breath entering your body in a flowing motion through the crown of your head, and gradually filling every part of you, relaxing your muscles, your organs and your nervous system. You are filled with energy.
- Imagine this energy radiating through you in all directions, like a beautiful light – in front of you and behind you, to the right, and behind, to the left and above and below you. Establish that vision in your mind.
- Finally, take a few minutes to readjust and ground yourself properly before carrying on with everyday activities.
Don’t forget to thank your own subconscious and spirit for the help given. AURIC AWARENESS Exercise 5 of set - First practice steps 3, 4 and 5 of above exercise 4 in part two.
- Next think of the etheric (or energy) matter that supports your physical body and how it is interwoven with all the other cells in your body. Like a web of supports. Imagine its radiation around you, be still, sense and feel its activity: if you look, listen, and wait patiently often enough your awareness will grow.
- Feel three more breaths flowing through your etheric body, coming in through the spleen chakra, into the solar plexus and from there, into the whole etheric system as your body pulses and radiates
- Think of all the lines of force as they criss-cross around you. Remember the hair-like radiations on the surface of the etheric body as they radiate back into the energy field of the planet and solar system,
- Next, take your consciousness (centre your thinking) inside you head to just behind and above your eyes. Allow a picture to form of a beautiful flower. Let the flower grow, and as its colours become more vivid, so much so that you can almost feel it and smell its fragrance. Enjoy it.
- Think how beautiful the flower is, and what a wonderful garden it is in, vibrant and alive, yet calm. As these thoughts and feelings flow through you, enjoy them further, allowing them to flow.
- Then remember the dimension in you that enables these feelings and emotions to flow – the emotional or astral plane. Visualise its form as it also interpenetrates your physical body and then appears to radiate from where you are standing or sitting, like a great sphere of light and colour all around you. Take a deep breath, relax and enjoy the idea for a few moments.
- Count three more slow, deep breaths, returning gradually to your physical body, putting it back on just like a garment, and feeling your feet firmly on the floor, grounded and in touch with the physical life again. Then slowly, open your eyes and be still until you feel fully connected and awake.
This set of exercises is to bring the true self into understanding of our energy fields, and how they can be used to help in the everyday lives of us all.
Now when you've had a bit of practice go to part three...OK?
