This poem reflects the fears that we all find disturb us when we are exposed to what is going on in the outer world - and it's right that we have those fears.
........................
AS YOU SIT By Donald Rodgers.
As you sit and watch the 'Tele'
And see the tragic scenes of strife.
Of people starving, people killing,
Just think of what it means to life.
The terrible vibrations set
Loose upon the world,
Evil trying to gain the upper hand-
The terror that it unfolds.
We who believe in spirit,
Must try with all our might
To combat all this darkness
By sending out our light.
Together, with others of a like mind,
To garner up the love, the light,
And try to calm the evils,
That this world do blight.
We should not sit back hoping
That it all will go away,
And it may seem a small thing
To sit down and pray.
But Spirit power is almighty
When our thoughts are filled with love.
So close your eyes --send out thoughts,
Send out your light-- your love,
Yes, pray to God above.
End.
