MANIFESTATION
Manifestation/Incarnation of life is a very complex process,
and in order to enter earth as an individual entity and come into physical
manifestation, the spirit needs a series of intermediate levels of
consciousness, to bridge the gap between the non-physical and physical planes,
so that it can act directly on physical earthly matter.
These ‘spirit to matter’ levels are:
Spiritual
OR
Spirit
Mental/Emotional
Mind
Physical
Matter
In other words:
1] A vehicle of a mind, mental level - to think.
2] Emotional level to feel, or become aware of the quality
of its thoughts.
Levels 1 & 2 are different but interwoven.
3] A body physical, to bring into being the expression of
these things.
How does this work? The thoughts of the mind from the
spiritual self employ as its vehicle of expression the physical brain, which in
turn employs the body through its nervous and glandular systems.
The mental and emotional is thus a half way house between
the spiritual and physical states. It is a link between the two extremes, and
receives the influences of both, it’s a two-way door.
The purpose of life is to provide man with experiences,
which will help him to become more individualised, to develop character, and
here’s the rub, bring into evidence his spiritual nature.
We were created by God as pure spirit, as perfect beings,
and to manifest into the physical we came into contact with the nature of
material, the ego, (please note here that ‘ego’ is not a negative term) and
that nature gave us wants and thoughts that became less spiritual, more
physical. We forget sometimes that we are spirit first, and we need to re-learn
that this world is simply a place of learning how to return to that state, the
un-physical, and the spiritual.
We are taught by the masters tat this is only one part of
our total existence in the greater scheme; there are many other places in the
spirit world and the physical too.
Man has to learn how to overcome and master the earthly
conditions, that by choice he has adopted. These experiences gained in the
process must be interpreted and evaluated from a spiritual standpoint,
in order that his own true spirit-nature may not only be remembered but also
enriched.
Freewill is there to let man make his own mistakes,
through the working of the law of cause and effect he will gradually discover
that life will ultimately steer him with unremitting pressure into the
right path. So that he will use his freewill to make the right decisions. I
call this the ‘homing device’ that our Creator has given us for guidance.
Peace and harmony will only come to him when the spiritual
side of his nature is re-awakened. This is the true purpose of healing, of
giving evidence, and the philosophy / the seven principals.
The object of re-awakening the spirit within is to stimulate
the thought patterns of the individual, into the understanding that this
material world is only the shadow-land. And that the earth is created as it
should be. That God and man are not at odds with each other. We are not
here to be punished or as a punishment.
All people, the so-called bad and good, will go back
to the real world of spirit, and will be judged not by some image of our maker,
but by ourselves. We are our own harshest judges, and will see before us the
experiences we have been through and how we learnt from them, how we have
progressed on our journey back to being the pure souls the source of all being,
our creator God made us in the first place.
In giving us the free will to make mistakes, we are blessed
with the spiritual progression at the speed we wish. To not move at all if that
is how we want it. But I must confess it’s not easy to stand by when those we
love seem to go astray. As a friend I have watched some pretty stupid
things going! As a parent this is even harder.
To trust the system God has put in place, and know that all
will be well in the end, is just about the hardest thing to do when it’s our
own loved ones that are in pain. But sometimes this is exactly what we must do.
Why do we suffer so? Because we don’t understand the reasons
we are here. This we must learn for ourselves, each and every one of us.
And when we can’t help ourselves any more, then trust is all that is left to
us, it’s the egotistical self pride that stops us from asking for help, we
don’t like to think that we are not all omnipotent!
Now we have learnt another lesson. When all else fails go to
the spirit / God. Go to prayer. Go to the source of all being and feel the love
that the greatest parent of all time must feel.
How can this love be any the less than ours? How can the
creator see what we do to each other and not grieve? How can that pain be any
less than ours, when the responsibility is left to us to learn not to do
these things? How can the creator take away the purpose of our being?
We have chosen the path for ourselves, before we came here,
in that other home we have called the spirit world. To live a life of testing,
perhaps temptation and learn the value of all the other things that are non-physical.
Then when we go back we can look our loved ones in the face and say to them and
God “I did my best”... and maybe think, "I'll do better next time."
Amen – which means ‘Let it be so’.
