Our deeds still travel with us from afar, and what we have been makes us what we are. George Elliott.

KARMA
FROM WIKIPEDIA the free encyclopedia: The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between
traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. Through the
law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present,
and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life,
and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others. The results or
'fruits' of actions are called karma-phala. In religions that incorporate reincarnation karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.
You’ve heard of the Seven Deadly Sins? But more deadly to the self are these character traits we might have.
Here they are: Fear, Anger, Doubt, Blame, Criticism, Judgment and Self-Pity.
To
grow 'spiritually' means that we have to face the 'human' side of
ourselves which means all of the above. If we say that growth is the
most important thing in our lives, we are saying it is important to
eliminate these seven deadly things.
We are all tested in our spiritual growth, and the test of our commitment here
is any challenge that comes along, complacency never advanced anybody!
If you have no commitment to that spiritual growth, then your challenge
will do you no good. They are directly proportional to each other. I'll
repeat that: They are directly proportional to each other.
Asking
for development in your spiritual life induces challenge and change; so
don’t forget this when the going seems tough! The laws of a balanced
universe make sure we all induce any needs we have in order to
progress, i.e. what we desire is counter-balanced by the above seven deadly traits. So we manifest bad as well as good things into our lives. Like attracts like.
But it works both ways, we can create and dissolve
our own experiences this means that the bad character traits prevent
the needy prayers functioning, or distort them mostly through lack of
humility. Conversely when we are in harmony and have none of the above,
particularly fear, all the channels are open to receive the blessings.
We none of us learn from other peoples mistakes as well as our own, do we? We need to get it into our heads that all is fair
in a balanced universe, and we can then see that whatever comes is
serving a purpose, and the worst thing that can happen is that we won’t
like the unpleasant experience when someone is treating us worse that
we would like. I have been reminded when moaning to spirit about this
because I did just the same thing to another! Be assured our 'higher
self' [some call it the conscience] knows what it is doing too. It is
not possible for a mistake from that quarter, although ignoring it is
possible as we all know! There are no accidents, mistakes or
coincidences with the great universal laws, so ... 'do as you would be
done by'.
Thoughts
are made of energy and prayers travel on the thought ‘wave-length’. Our
every thought, word, attitude, belief, feeling and memory is composed
of energy. Energy precedes ‘physical matter’ It creates and attracts
circumstances, people and conditions, and since like attracts like, the conditions in your life reflect the energies/prayers/thoughts you have sent out , so be careful what you pray for!
You
and your whole life are a collection of energy patterns constantly
attracting to yourself exact manifestations of the kinds of inner
thoughts/ beliefs you have adopted. You have attracted every person and
circumstance including playing the ones playing the part of ‘baddy’ in
your life, or love you so inadequately that you are driven to seek a
better way, a way that gradually brings you back to your destiny -
closer to God.
Being
free from fear makes you more able to deal with situations without
nervousness or anxiety. Living without fear does not mean you are not cautious or alert, it means that you do not react with emotions, which cloud or confuse your responses.
The answer to this whole thing is this; to create the reality you really want, you must do two things: First all the negative in your life must go, and secondly, reinforce your mental attitude to what you do need, not just want - wanting is lacking trust in God, saying “Thy will be done" and saying it with true meaning removes all ego.
This
is a scientific process of removing and/or dissolving energetic
patterns. Search your soul for the 'Deadly Traits', and to the degree they are gone, to that degree you will be able to manifest what you want. That balanced universe is at work again…!
Edgar Cayce
is very interesting on Reincarnation - which is all about Karma, if you
google his name you will find a lot of information about the man they
called 'The Sleeping Prophet'
THE FOUR ASPECTS
The four aspects of Karma are: Cause and Effect, Compensation, Balancing and
Completion.
Through different lifetimes we work through our karmic cycle in order to attain
perfection of the soul, which is trapped within five different lower planes.
Only when we reach a higher plane are we able to move forward to the next
level.
The Five Lower Planes are as follows: The physical plane - this is where you
and I are right now. It is also known as the Earth Plane - at this level the
body is a physical one and a large amount of karma can be added or erased at
this level.
The next plane up is the Astral Plane where the body takes a less materialistic
form as, for example with ghosts. We go here immediately following death.
The Causal Plane is higher than the Astral Plane and is where the Akashic
Records are kept. These records are complete files on all our past, present and
future lifetimes and a medium or clairvoyant may project themselves to this
Plane in order to give you a reading. (See article ‘The Masters' - Edgar Cace)
The Mental Plane is the plane of pure intellect and the Etheric Plane follows
this Plane where truth and beauty are the ultimate values.
Before each incarnation we are given choices to help us to develop. For
instance, if we need to develop intellectually in order to progress, we would
select to live on the Mental Plane - if beauty and honesty were the virtues we
needed to cultivate most, then our choice would probably be to live on the
Etheric Plane, and so on.
If we are mistrustful of people or find it impossible to communicate
effectively in this lifetime - we may decide to work on these issues in the
future - thus, relationships will be very important factor for you.
It is possible that all the people who are, or have been, important to you in
this lifetime, will have also been involved with you in one way or another in
past or subsequent lifecycles. When we examine inter-relationships in this way
it is often referred to as 'Group Karma'. When we hate someone intensely we
attach a Negative Karma to our lifecycle. This must be worked through at a
later time in order to evolve spiritually.
On dying we Step Into The Light where our arrival is telepathically
communicated to all our departed loved ones, who may choose to welcome us.
Guides and Masters are there to advise us and accompany us to the Soul Plane,
which lies between the Five Lower Planes and the Seven Higher Planes. Entities
that do not Step Into The Light may become Earthbound as Astral Bodies or
Ghosts.
Past Life Regression can be used in many ways to help the Karmic process.
Visiting former lifetimes and seeing the mistakes that you keep on making can
often be quite an eye-opener. You notice that you're still making the same
mistakes in this lifetime and this revelation has the effect of making you more
consciously aware of what you are doing. And of course, once you're consciously
aware of the mistakes you've been making, you're more able to rectify them.
So we understand that Karma is created from the actions of the past, this in the greater context where people are able to use their free will, karma is not just acting on the individuals, but also in the greater context of groups, where villages, towns countries unions etc are concerned. I wonder does it stop there? Why should there be spatial limits?
In the individual being obviously reincarnation introduces the idea that karma might be may be played out not just in this life but previous lives also.
The Astral body is the body that holds all the records
of our actions in all our lives, our character - that part of us we
arrive with and also take back to the spirit world, and hope to improve here on
the material plain, which is what Karma is all about, improvement.
Every little hurt is a lesson to be more careful,
‘don’t put your finger in the fire’ is one example, and that’s only on the
physical.
On the emotional / mental plane the lessons are a bit
different. Being unkind, at one end of the scale, and dangerous to all people in our
paths at the extreme end of that scale, are lessons for all concerned,
victims and perpetrators. Cruelty met
with ditto or the opposite are different lessons, aren’t they? What goes round will surely come around!
That we learn best from our failures is so true; to
live a ‘charmed’ life is not as terrific as it may seem if that person isn’t learning
anything, in the books about between lives here on earth (see Book List No: 25)
we are told that we choose the kind of life to live, in not only the families
we come into but also the situations that are going to be met.
Not all the time in every life are our past actions going to catch up with us
either, it is my belief that we must remember there is in the soul an accumulation
of karma. This makes good sense if we understand that to have a life where no
karmic debts are 'paid' - so to speak - then surely they are not going to just float
away?
Past karma, which is built into the astral body, manifests sometimes in the circumstances
of a life or it may come out in the form of physical ill, depending on
the life lessons we have agreed to before we come to this plane of existence.
Remember there are no conscripts here, only volunteers!
Happenings that we so often say to ourselves “Why
me?"
“Why not?" The Law of Karma says!
This is the ‘wake up call’ that is the best method we can possible have to
guide/nudge us all into change of either our actions directly or our way of
life.
The law of karma is exact; it is just, perfect, and
true. You cannot interfere with karma, but you can assist yourself
and your patient to transmute it. If you or your patients are helped
to receive the full inflow of the Christ-Light, s/he will then help themselves;
and in that way they will learn by transmutation of karma instead of by means
of the particular disharmony.
In so many instances the cause of illness or
dissatisfaction lies deep within the soul, and it has been built into the
astral body from a past life.
The purpose of karma...
... is to teach. It’s to give
the individual spirit the opportunity to learn lessons, to gain wisdom, to grow
in spiritual stature.
If the soul is arrogant (which is so often the
trouble), if it will not believe, and is quite sure that it knows, then there
is nothing else for it but to walk the allotted path and endure more
disharmony.
Yet there are some souls who deliberately choose the
way of suffering, but also the choice might be subconscious. Hypnotherapy
has a big part to play here and Past Life Regression is the key.
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor
the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change.
Charles Darwin
This brings us to
another point: we cannot impose spiritual healing on others, it is not possible, it will not be accepted. The soul should come
of its own free will to seek spiritual help. The need of the patient is for
spiritual light; the purpose of the pain is to lead him towards the light.
This is not to say
that absent healing on request from a third party is 'out of bounds', we send all
healing in Gods name which is love, and so only the healing which is Gods will
can be given this way. Healing can simply take the form that a patient is
‘drawn’ to the light, and personal responsibility takes over thereafter.
This is why in
spiritual healing, we are told by spirit friends, not to be concerned too much
with the physical body, and its manifold aches and pains. To be more concerned
with the soul and with the aura of the patient. It is true that the healer, may
possess certain magnetic force, or ‘animal magnetism,’ and give temporary
relief to the patient, but that is not enough. In spiritual healing you are
healing the soul. In time the body will reflect the soul’s health.
We as healers are working,
in company with the angels, to supply the missing elements to restore balance,
health or wholeness to the soul. We are conductors of these pure spiritual
forces, so we ourselves must endeavour to be like the priests and priestesses
of old. To attune ourselves by pure living, pure thinking, pure action and
right behavior, as a human and spiritual instrument. Striving with all our
hearts to maintain good health.
Here are some philosophies from other people:
The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to
their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavour ~ Vincent Lombardi
Our Life is what our thoughts make it. Wealth is not only what you have – but who you are. ~ Sterling W Sill
There is no passion to be found in playing small - in
settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living. ~ Nelson Mandela
We are what we repeatedly do, Excellence, then, is not an
act - but a habit ~ Aristotle
REGRESSION
This from one of my other websites www.hypnotherapy-in-norfolk.com
Regression takes three forms, that of ‘this
life’ and that of ‘past life’ and Life between lives / Spiritual
Regression.
THIS LIFE REGRESSION is most thought of as a therapy, perhaps in the
context of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD]
‘Flashbacks’ are a very real problem that
disturbs people no matter what their occupation or level of intelligence. I say
this because it might be thought that an intelligent person should be able to
control this very natural phenomenon, or that only soldiers from war conditions
are entitled to complain of this distressing problem.
Why do I use the word ‘natural’?
Because this is a part of our basic instinct for self preservation, to learn
from past experience obviously is a very good thing, “do not put your finger in
the fire!” an example just as valid as “avoid the experience that you keep
getting flashbacks about.” The difference is that the memory has - you might
say - got stuck in the wrong mode, and instead of only coming up as a reminder
when the fire is near, it keeps re-playing at odd times.
Our brains are very sophisticated
instruments, and from time to time they need fine-tuning, this is a good
example of what hypnotherapy does.
PAST LIFE REGRESSION
Did you ever feel, with a great affinity,
that you have been in a place before, and yet know that you haven’t? Do you
’see’ things as it were, in another time? A greater part of the world’s population
takes the matter of reincarnation for granted, and yet others still preach
against it. Some say it is a metaphor for the unconscious mind to understand
our lives in a different way. What ever your opinion, it is a very interesting
subject.
A ‘convincer’ might be that you can - under
hypnosis - collect information that is verifiable through place names and
public records. Simply asking for written names and addresses are a good way of
doing this.
LIFE-BETWEEN-LIVES (SPIRITUAL) REGRESSION
LBL is a means to consciously experience our
own permanent identity and the realm in which our soul resides, while answering
the fundamental questions…”Who Am I?” and “Why Am I Here Now?”.
This procedure requires time and patience,
the entry into a deep trance can take a few sessions in order to achieve the
completely relaxed state required, and sometimes up to 3/4 hours in one session
are beneficial.
LBL assists individuals in realizing
themselves as spiritual beings, not through belief, but through an actual
conscious experience of that heritage. As a result of a deepened perception of
one’s own immortal soul, values - and the priorities, emotions, and actions
that spring from them - change. For this reason, before being guided into an
LBL session, it is highly recommended that prospective clients first experience
a Past Life Regression (PLR), with a qualified hypnotherapist.
Over the past 40 years many methods to
promote access to higher spiritual states of consciousness have been developed
and described. Meditation practices have been pursued for Millennia, but now
Out-of-Body techniques and hypnotic regression are actively researched, written
about in popular books, and practiced by many. Why such powerful methods are
now becoming widely available is speculative, but it appears at this juncture
in the history of humanity there is a need for transcendent spiritual
experiences to be made available to more than a disciplined few. These are
difficult times from both a social and spiritual perspective.
WHAT IS THIS INTERESTING THERAPY USED FOR?
It might be that a person comes to see me
because they know of no reason why their behaviour in this life is causing them
to have negative thoughts or feelings. Regression can play a part in settling
the conscious mind and bringing peace to issues that have so far lacked
resolve. Of course, only experiences that are helpful are brought
forward.
CASE STUDY: Mr R was interested to know why
he had much illness late in his life, was it a punishment for misdeeds, he
wondered? The lives he experienced through regression brought to the forefront
of his mind questions he had asked himself time and time again, on wakening
from his deep trance he exclaimed, “I saw it all, how I died even, and so many
things have fallen into place!” It is not for the therapist to know the secrets
of the heart, only to assist the understanding and perhaps some wisdom too.
Location: Reepham in Norfolk, East Anglia, is about 20 minutes
from the outskirts of Norwich. Appointments are made by telephone: 01603 879126
The cost of treatment is dependant on the
monetary resources of the client. I have helped many people through the
holistic healing approach, from the busy man working all day in his office, who
has a hidden fear of public speaking, to the retired farmer who’s back pain has
troubled him all his working life.
If unable to answer the phone I will ask you
to leave a message speaking slowly and clearly, and give your contact number so
I can return your call as soon as is possible.
